Tomos 150 "Nitro"

Postby Ike » Sun May 24, 2009 12:57 pm

After having acquired a Tomos 150 Nitro Scooter, and not really being much of a scooter fan, I have to admit that I am more impressed with this Scooter each time I ride it.

And not having any plans to sell scooters before, this may change soon.
I have two of these sold as soon as I get my dealers license, which I am in the process of doing.

The only thing that is unknown, is the how reliable these Scooters are? So far, I have put 3, 200 miles on this one with no problems. I am going to ride this one until it breaks.

Are you triangulating with this. You have succomed to the dark site. Beware they are addicting as there is three in my backyard. Had the 400 K7 Burgman out today and averaged 74 mpg at highway speeds riding two up. Life is good, my moped doesn't even get that!

Looks just like my new brava sky 50, after riding 5 mi. i found some problems, lets see if this shop knows how to fix them, good thing the old elite-s fires up and can still run mega miles, the italjet is down for an overhaul+ mods.

Scooters are definitely addictive. I have 5 scooters now...Burg 650, CH250, two CH-80's and an Aero 80 (2 stroke). I'm even going to a scooter rally this Saturday! Who woulda thunk it.

I rode this scooter for a bit, boy is it nice. I have room to extend my legs out too. It turns great, I felt real safe.

Chris, does this mean you are getting your motorcycle endorsement soon?

I'm Lovin the color Ike. It matches your Luv in the garage!!!

I don't think you can beat them for the price that's for sure.

I don't know John. It would be a while. I still love my moped. But if we went on a ride where I would need to pull BIG hills I would need a scooter. Hard for me to ride a motorcycle because of my knees. I need to extend my legs. I had my license 30+ years ago and didn't put it on my drivers license. :(
