I put about 50 miles on my Kymco People 250 yesterday. What a blast it was to ride. This scoot has incredible power for a 250cc. Acceleration was phenomenal and because of the 16" wheels, it is much more stable on the highway than my old Honda Elite 250. I had the throttle about 1/2 way open and I was effortlessly doing 60mph. The weather is supposed to be amazing today and tomorrow, so I'm gonna put some more miles on her and see what she can do.

OK, so you bought the Like for yourself because, um, why?

JD, I bought the Like because I had no idea this People 250 was going to fall into my lap so soon after I bought it. Don't get me wrong, I like the look and styling of the Like more than the People 250, but this People 250 is just a faster, more stable bike. I think I'll save the Like for weekend cruising with Kim and use the People 250 during the week. This way I can keep the mileage down on the Like.
