Modified Honda Urban Express....needs tuning advice.

Postby buckeroo bob » Fri Jun 07, 2013 2:09 pm

I've heavily modified this Honda NU50 into what you see here. It has a 70cc DR big bore kit, Weak Ends intake and exhaust, new CDI, Mikuni VM20 with 180 main jet and 22.5 pilot jet. I need to know a good starting point for tuning the card. Don't want to buy a bunch of jets, so could someone advise where to start?

Resored a couple of Suzuki FA50 this past year and will continue restorations as they become available. Next is a 50cc Harley Davidson (it's true!)

Thanks for all the assistance....just hot air. Remind me not to come back. All this yak for a simple question. A modified engine is a modified engine. Who cares if it has or has not pedals. There are some folks who call my 250cc scooter a moped, but I don't get snippy. Just be helpful, not so "special" Jeez! I'm out of this near sighted place.

If it has pedals it is a moped.

If it looks like a moped, but doesn't have pedals it is a noped.

If it doesn't have pedals and looks like something Pee Wee Herman or Tab would ride, it is a scooter.
