Yes, I know....I can't help myself!!

Picked up this 2005 Kymco Grand Vista 250cc today. 1,960 original, one owner miles. What can I say.....I'm a sucker for white bikes.

Nice bike, I trust it was a great score. Same motor and running gear as the Bet & Win 250. Also same motor as your People 250. They never sold those scooters here in Canada.

John, it wasn't a steal, but I paid a fair price for it. I have to replace the left side lower skirt plastic because it's got a crack in it. I already ordered the part from my Kymco dealer.

One thing is the plastics are not too expensive with Kymco. both our lowers have been replaced. Carefull getting the tabs back in the right places.

Yup, I had to replace the lower left skirt on Kim's Kymco Like last year. I was very careful installing the new one. We still don't know how it cracked. I guess the plastic is very brittle.

Larry, I have the same problem, I bought a 2013 Honda PCX 150 on 2-20-14. I wanted one but its like I have to save it if its a great price. I get an itch that drives me to buy.

Jeff, that's exactly how I feel.....I had to rescue that bike. I don't think people truly appreciate the quality of Kymco scooters. I just didn't want it to end up in the hands of some kid who would just trash it.

Hi Moe, Kim's arm is all black and blue, and she still has a lot of pain, but according to her doctor, she should be fine in a few weeks. Thanks for asking!

In my opinion Kymco's quality is right up there with Honda and Vespa.

Bryan, I'll tell ya......even in this miserably cold weather, my Kymcos all start on the first or second hit of the starter button. All my Hondas take several attempts before they will start.

Cold-weather starting isn't necessarily a sign of anything. One of my Buddy 125s starts like I just turned it off. The other one cranks and whines for a very long time first, and then stalls the first five or six times after it starts.

It's just a difference in the idle setting, I think. But I obviously can't conclude anything about the brand or model from my contradictory experiences.

I took my Kymco Grand Vista out for it's maiden voyage yesterday. She ran beautifully. Gonna take her out for another long ride today. The only thing I need to get used to is the shorter windshield. The wind wasn't a problem with my full face helmet, but I'm guessing it will be more of a factor with my 3/4 helmet with bubble shield.

Get a "Laminar Lip" for it. Deflect the wind higher.

They don't make one for my model Kymco. They do have a universal one for sport bikes, but not sure if it will work on my bike.
