give it up Mike...now you're really in over your head, if you don't know why the fuel valve has two lines!!! OH, and the carb should have its name on it, if you actually take it off to clean it you may find it.

Yes, one of the lines to the fuel valve is a vacuum line, which pulls the diapraghm open inside the valve, thus allowing fuel to flow through the gas line, into the carb bowl. Both lines may be connected to the carb, but one goes to the fuel inlet of the carb, and the other to the vacuum fitting. Sometimes the vacuum line is connected to the intake manifold. As for "what carb", I'm not sure right off. I would guess a Keihin...or maybe a Mikuni, probably the former. The choke is probably electronic. It'll be the round black piece with two wires coming from it, held in place on the carb with two screws and a retainer. Hope this helps.

Did you find the problem yet pierking03? I hope so, but if not, give some more details on what's happening with it, and I'll try to help further so you can get it up and running.

Chuckles, hey Bro', if you do decide to lose some weight, how 'bout losing it where I can find, I could sure use to put on a few more pounds, LOL!!!

Well yea i got it running today! But runs shitty! It will crank but only if I put my fingers over the intake to block all incoming air... Then it seems like its flooding bad, gas just pours out the air intake whenever I try to start it. And well tonight I was riding it and well it shut off and now there is no spark. Any ideas smitty!

Also what purpose is does the fuel line on the bottom of the carb serve.. (the one that comes out the bowl)

If the line comes out the bottom of the carb bowl, its the drain.

Whats the purpose of a drain>? Wouldnt that defeat the purpose of the bowl!<< to fill it up!

There should be a screw on the side of the float bowl, unscrew it most of the way and the bowl drains out that hose. If it doesnt have that, then its likely just an overflow drain.

Next I'd start checking for air leaks. Even check that there is a sealing ring on the spark plug, and that it is tight as well.

As Saabsonettguy said, the hose you're talking about is either a drain hose (incidentally, it's nice to be able to drain a water bubble from the bowl, instead of having to remove, disassemble, reassemble, and reinstall the carb every time.). If it is not a drain, then again, it will be an over-flow, in case the float sticks...thus, draining the excess gas out, instead of filling the crankcase.
Hope you get it running good soon.

If I missed it I'm sorry, but what kind of carb is it. Everything on these thins relies on vacuum. Have you checked all the lines for any cracks. I believe Smitty is right with the drain for the bowl when you want to drain off the bottom.
