Your zx engine is identical to a honda-s/sr the only thing i don't know is the final drive gear ratio? it should be a 12:1:1 most people don't know that this is a direct honda clone! now you know!....

Malossi and Airsal both make a 70cc kit for the ZX-50.

http://www.mopedhospital.com/ is one place that carries them.

mad dog, does that mean I can order honda parts? would there be a website for all these 'clones' and what they're doing?

those lifan engines are on everything, clones too, right?

Just thinking if the kymco engine is a clone I could go even bigger, 110cc, 125 maybe, 'course the super 9 has LQ, I wonder if the tranny/dry clutch is a clone too

You can go to www.mopedhospital.com to get a basic idea of what can be done but i don't agree with most of the parts they use but its a 2 stroke thing.

Just talked to Steve from vt cycles.com and the zx has a Japan zx trans which is better than a honda elite-s bore kits are 72cc to 85cc non stroked and all types of stroker kits are offered, this is a great scoot to build up!

Don't forget to disable the Rev Limiter and replace the variator spacer.

The only honda parts that can't be used are the belt and front face pulley, bore kits, pipes and clutch parts are the same.
