Carb and 12v stator question

'77 Puch has a 12mm carb on it and I want to replace. Its worn out. I found a 15mm carb at treatland.

Where is the difference between 12mm and 15mm carb?
Will the intake manifold need to be changed from 12 to 15mm?
Should the jet size be reduces a few sizes to begin with?

Treatland also has an E50 Stator plate/magneto/points etc... with internal ignition coil. It upgrades to 12v.

What else would I need to change out to covert from the stock 6v to 12v?
