1978 Honda Express NC50 more speed

Postby Kroozen » Sat Jul 09, 2011 11:07 pm

I recently bought a 1978 Honda Express NC50 with 760 miles on it. It was adult owned and driven but has been sitting for about 10+ years. Its current top speed is 25mph on straight aways and 28-29 going down hill. What are some of the things to look for or check to get more speed out of this moped or is that all the faster it will go?
Thanks for any and all suggestion

25-27 normal. Exhaust mod will get you to 33-35ish. I did it to mine and that's what I'm getting.Everything stock, except for the exhaust mod.
