1978 Tomos A3 engine rebuild

Postby TheWheel9 » Fri Jul 22, 2011 3:53 pm

recently read a post that siad you could use the newer 6203 crank bearings in the older A3 engine case and however they do fit the case and the crank THEY ARE TOO WIDE. You'd either have to have the engine case bearing seats milled out of the crank turned down to fit the wider 12mm 6203 bearing.
After some searching I found the original L17 thrust/angular 2 piece bearings that are only 10mm wide.
Had to buy a ten pack so if anyone is in need of some let me know ive got 3 extra sets.
