Yamahopper QT50 issues

Postby zwack24 » Mon Oct 24, 2011 12:32 pm

Hello all, I have a Yamahopper QT50 that I am trying to get running. When I bought it the piston was seized inside of the cylinder. After freeing the piston I was able to get the kick start to turn over but I was never able to actually get the bike itself to turn over. I have good spark, good compression, and gas is getting to the engine. After changing out the carburetor I was able to get it to fire a couple of times and eventually start for about 30 seconds. Now however I am not able to get anything. the spark and compression are still good and I have since cleaned the carb so I am not sure why I am not able to get it to turn over again. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
