Is a 2002 Baby STA a Moped?

Postby mikey360 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 1:11 pm

It was my son-in-law's until he put my daughter on it and she wrecked it. Broke a signal light but daughter and her mother freaked so now I have and I'm getting tired of it in my barn. Keys missing. Is it a moped? Only 49cc. The only badge is 'Baby STA' on air cleaner. Who makes it? Just looking for some info so maybe I can get some parts for it and get it to someone who might use it and appreciate it. Only has 79 miles.

Mopeds someplaces as long as it doesn't have a manual gear changer. Honda clone motor LIFAN or Jailin. Try DRATV for parts, shot them a e-mail.
Whoa there boy, I would paint over that Capt. America scheme!

First piece of good news! Local locksmith was able to make keys for it so now I can gas it and work the ignition switch. Next up: new battery if I can find one.
