open box. take piston and rings out. gently and carefully place rings on piston making sure they squeeze and close together right where the little knotch is in the ring placement. push piston pin through the hole just a little bit. lubricate everything with 2stroke, even the rings when installing. put circlip on the side you didnt push the pin through using needle nose (do not drop in case!). squeeze rings around piston making sure they are set right to those nubs and gently install into new cylinder. take old setup off. install gasket. slide new cylinder on while holding crank to aline the holes up. tap pin through piston and crank with the roller bearing in the crank (i use a flathead and deadblow hammer). insert 2nd circlip (make sure they are in the slot locked in) and push cylinder down. push head on gasket or no gasket... doesnt matter with tomos. torque head to specs. good to go!
