70cc airsal kit help

Installing a new kit and was just wondering if anyone can tell me if the shinny ring goes on the top or the bottom. It's going on a tomos Streetmate R

Not a Tomos but the method is the same once you have the side panels off. The motor doesn't need to be removed from the chassis for the install of the kit.

shinny or not it doesnt matter. just make sure your ring gap is right. some champher some dont. i personally never have and never had a problem just make sure the gap is correct. good luck!
