Count on me and Lisa, too.

I've been doing a lot of ancestry research lately and have discovered more than two dozen relatives I didn't even know I had, and most of them live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. And here's the kicker: One of them rides scooters and lives 60 miles away from Larry in Bordentown, NJ. I turned him on to this ride and he's already put it on his calendar. It will be the first time I've met him in person!

Must run in the family. Kinda like baldness and insanity.

I think the rain in the middle of the ride in 2012 made it a lot more memorable! Everything was so well planned, we dealt with it.

Rain or shine, it will still be the best ride of the year.

Hi Gang, (OK, bunch of old Fogey's!!!)

We had to make reservations in Budd Lake this year due to the Comfort Inn being sold out. I sure hope that's because moped riders EVERYWHERE beat us too the rooms!!! hehehehe We'll be staying at the Days Inn there. (thanks for the tip Wardie)

Can't wait to see you folks again.

I was really shocked to hear that the Hackettstown Comfort Inn was sold out that weekend. There must be another big event going on that same weekend. Except for all you guys, the majority of people attending the ride don't stay over, and if they do, they camp out in my backyard.

Budd Lake is about 20 minutes from my house. As in previous years, everyone is welcome to keep there mopeds/scooters and trailers at my house that weekend.

Kim and I are really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

In case anyone is interested, the official distance of the MopedLar Ride this year is 62.45 miles. Kim and I reconned the route this morning and have prepared printed turn-by-turn directions (with mileage) for everyone attending the ride. This should help to minimize the instances of people getting disconnected from the rest of the group along the route.

Happy Trails!
