LED indicator bulds for yamaha MS50 ?

Postby crankorange80 » Fri Apr 26, 2013 12:41 pm

Hi. Is there such a thing as super bright Led indicator buld for a 85 yamaha ms50. the standard incandescent bulds are 6v/15w but are not bright. I want somthing that will give a good clear flash as other road users complain because they can not see my indicators in daylight.

Does any one have any suggestions. I googled but don't see what I need.

I Just noticed that im only getting 4volts when reading the voltage in the bulb holder. the bulb is rated 6volts. I removed the flasher unit and tested the input voltage going to the unit is 6v but at the bulb is only getting 4v when it should be 6v. I wonder if the unit is faulty or has someone replaced the unit in the past with the wrong rating. there is a lable on the flasher unit that says.

wre01
6v 8/10w

the bulbs are rated at 6v 15w.

is this the correct flasher unit for a yamaha ms50?
