Front wheel bearings on a vespa ciao

Postby mrw8 » Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:27 pm

I've repacked these front wheel bearings a few times and lost a few bearings along the way. Now they are loose most of the time so I'm going to replace the bearings and bearing cup if I can find them. Has anyone done this to a 1974 vespa ciao 17'' front wheel with a speedo? I have an idea of what shop might mail them to me but first had experience might help me decide. If I can't find the parts then I'll have to get a mag wheel.
any advice will help.
thanks

If the cup and cone is alright then go to a bicycle shop and buy a handfull of the right size balls to replace worn ones. Take one with you to compare diameter.
