targa lx front fairing

Postby Flat_Track_Racer » Wed Oct 30, 2013 9:25 pm

Is it a redundant idea to cut out the fairing following the lines where it looks like a windshield should be and rig up a tinted windshield? Has anyone done this at all before? Buying an old motorcycle windshield or getting Plexiglas shouldn't be to hard and I could warm it up on top of my toaster oven and then carefully mold it to the shape using the fairing before cutting out an opening

Seen it done on Moped Army about 10 years ago. But why though, as the fairing is so low you are always looking over it.
