Can you fit an inline filter ahead of the banjo screen?

I may do that at some point.
However, I took the carb apart today, and it turns out the problem was the float adjustment. Wasn't sitting flat like it should and wouldn't let any fuel in. A quick adjustment and now the engine works perfect!
I also got the horn wiring done today. That one is a little tricky to get right. Very close to a test ride now!

Still troubleshooting the tail light assembly. And the horn buzzes very quietly while the horn button isn't being pressed. At least its not full blast now. Brakes, headlight, speedometer, all done. Still needs a front fender brace, seat, cargo rack, side covers, and some small details, but its almost road worthy.

My son got to ride the Red Menace up and down the driveway a couple times! Still more work to do though. Tail lights still don't work. I'm thinking a bad coil in the stator. Wires need to be wrapped up a little better. Still can't seem to get the horn to work right. I've disconnected it for now. And I need to make a stabilizing bar for the back of the front fender. I may also fiddle with the pins holding the pedals arms on. I got the smallest I could find, and they still stick way out and the nuts barely fit on the threads. The forks need to be painted red too.

So a few details, but it's finally rideable.
