Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how the 1988 ZR50 ( uk version) is restricted & how squeeze a bit more out of my 30 mph ped?

Well if it is anything like a UK Honda MB50 then I would look to the carb, airbox throat and a restricted exhaust. Sprockets might be an issue too. Upchange all that and the bike would come alive for you. As with the carb I have no idea what and where to start with jetting. Maybe contact EACC over there and give a shout out to Mark Daniels. Good luck, nice wee bike by the way.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a go but finding an exhaust for one of these isn't easy.

Hack the header pipe and look at what is available for a Honda MB 5. Lots of choices and the original intent of both bikes were pretty similar.
