Loctite prevents headaches...

Postby Smitty » Sat Apr 22, 2006 4:10 am

I just got in a shipment of '05 TFR's, and decided to save not only myself, but especially my customers, a couple of potential headaches by adding thread-locker to certain areas of these Mopeds.
The clutch nut, rear pully nut, and the free-wheel sprocket all need a little thread-locker, along with the internal nut in the pedals.

Pop the end-cap out of the pedal, add a drop of loctite to the nut / stud, reinstall the plastic cap, install pedal. This will save the pedal from coming apart, and also prevent that particular headache as well.
