1980 jawa: really weak spark, need some help!

first off

HELLO!
im new to this forum, my name is steve, hi everybody.

anyways, i got a 1980 jawa 207. i got great compression, good fuel, and really weak, almost unrecognizable spark.

i have the workshop manual for this bike, and it doesnt really help me out here.
it has a 4v coil if that means anything.

im a vw mechanic, and this little moped has my hairs standing up, im so angry i cant figure it out!

i have been sent that link so many times. i printed out the 210 book too.

i cant find anything in there to lead me in the right direction. the bike used to run, now it doesnt. weak spark. its got to be something small and silly.

is there anyway to over ride that stuff that you are aware of?

the spark is weak, its defenitly there, and continuous, just small compared to the puch maxi i had.

Over-ride that stuff? You mean replace the electronic ignition with a different ignition system? No, unless you essentially want to redesign the ped. It doesn't have anything for points.
