Sachs Moped wiring diagram

Postby blarz » Fri Jul 13, 2007 2:54 pm

I have a 1978 Sachs model 505A and after rebuilding it, the bike runs great but I blew the headlight and taillight. I have been told there may be a ballast resistor in the taillight housing that controls the voltage. It does not have a battery. It also does not have a ballast resistor in the taillight. The service manual I got from Moped Junkyard for this model has the wiring diagram for the one with battery and turn signals. Most wiring colors do not match what I have. My bike is very original. Has anyone had a similar problem or a wiring diagram for this bike?

Thanks!
