WTB Raleigh Runabout parts

Postby Highship » Sun Dec 11, 2011 5:08 pm

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and mopeds all together. I recently purchased a 1965 Raleigh Runabout and am looking for parts.
If you think you could help I would be happy to hear from you.

Thanks,
Adam

You have a rare-ish moped. Best maybe ask over at the Moped Army site or even go onto the EACC site in the UK. Basically has Motobecane motor with an English mag set.

What happened to the motor? Can't you substitute a Motobecane one?

Picture always helps with selling items!

I bought the moped without the motor. I am more of a bicycle guy and bought it because it was a Raleigh. I thought I would be able to find parts for it but that is not working out great. I don't know anything about mopeds so I'm not sure if there is another motor that would work.
Let's see if I can figure out pictures....

Would be a project I would take on as the rolling chassis is all there. Just to darn far away for me. Motobecane motor would work.
