02 Revival & 79 Columbia Feeler

Postby vwmech » Sun Feb 26, 2012 4:24 pm

I'm fairly certain I'm going to let these bikes go. They're in great running shape, and someone needs to enjoy them more than I do. I need a motorcycle for the hills & traffic around here.

I'm thinking the 02 Revival is worth about $750...70cc kit, Biturbo, sprockets, VERY fast bike. I was wrecked when I bought it, so some of the plastic parts are broken, but all are installed.

79 Columbia prob $300...new rubber, tank Kreemed, all else stock. Reliable little guy.

Here are some pics from summer before last...Columbia has the old tires on it, and the Revival faux tank side has been reinstalled.

Well that stinks!

And thank you! It looks better now, with the faux tank installed...haha.

To be honest, I've never counted the teeth on the sprockets. I could do that for you...at least the rear. The front is covered by the side cover.

Air box is stock.

Approx. mileage...hmmm...I tried to calc it once. I think it was around 70mpg. That was back before I really understood how to properly 'burp' the tank, though...haha. It might be a tick or two better or worse than that.

Titles are clean and in my name. Bikes are both registered and legal to ride. Insurance and everything!

Ha! My fault; I meant to ask, how many miles are there on the black Revival? ;>)

Yikes; sorry. Local guy came through; too good to pass up. Sorry for the time-wasting. Best of luck with your sale.

That's okay, Red. I sent you a PM anyway.

Still for sale! Finding a few bikes here and there that I'd like to take a crack at, but I'd like to sell these first. If the pricing isn't to you liking, we can rap about that.

I don't log on here but maybe once a week, so if anyone is interested, PM me, and I'll send you my phone #.

Just wondering,
Would you be willing to ship to the northern Ky area, and any idea what the shipping cost would be?
Thank you,
Jim

I'd ship if the price was right, but I have absolutely NO idea how to go about doing so. Thus, I have no idea what it would cost.

If you want to do the research, my zip is 15068

I am still interested in your Revival, if you still have it for sale. Can you tell me how many miles are on it? Also, is this one oil injected, and how are the tires, and does the lights work on it?
Thank you,
Jim

Okay gents and ladies. I'm not active here, nor have I ridden these bikes this past summer, so they're going. I figured I'd come here and give you guys first crack. I need these things out of the parking lot as my neighbor and I shared his 2nd parking spot for our bikes, and now he's gone.

ALL FAIR OFFERS CONSIDERED.

I cleaned them and started them last night. I only rode them around the parking lot as I was more interested in getting them washed, photographed (just a few pics), and re-covered before dark.

Since the original post, the Columbia got new rubber. Aside, not much has changed. They started right up, rode around just fine, and are as rideable as they were in recent years.

I'll try to watch these forums and my PM's here, but it'd be better if you emailed me: mgd110*atttttttt*windstream-dot-net.
