I hear you Ike. I've been thinking of getting rid of all my moped stuff as well. Since becoming an avid "scooterist", I've found it harder and harder to get back on a moped.

Good luck with the sale!

I hear you, MopedLar. I finally got the '99 Classic running right with a new carb and rejetting, and now it's running as well as ever. The problem is, once I finished the final test-ride, I wondered why I bothered. My Buddy does everything better than the Tomos: Faster, smoother, quieter, and more reliable. And it's a hoot to ride as well. One exception, though: The Tomos is easier to work on because it doesn't have all the body panels. On the other hand, the Tomos seems to always need something or other. The Buddy never does.

Mopedlar,

Since you are a Honda Scooter fan, I have something you need to hang up in your shop. I Have neon sign that says, Honda Scooters on it . It came from a Honda shop. It lights up perfect and is beautiful. Red White and Blue.

Igot pics.

Ike, I know exactly what sign you're talking about. I'd love to have it for my garage. The only thing I'm concerned about is shipping such a fragile sign. Do you think it could safely make the trip to NJ without shattering the neon? How much would something like that cost to ship? I'm definitely interested.

Ike, I hear ya...Yesterday I sold the last of my moped parts, a fellow from Indianapolis
drove 4 hours for them. I had 3 big boxes with about 180 lbs of good used and new parts.
At one time I had 23 mopeds now I'm down to a small motorcycle, '63
Peugeot and a Whizzer. I'm just trying to keep life a little simpler.
