84 Hond Gyro Starter Info - HELP !

Can anyone tell me for sure if the 84 Honda Gyro starter is supposed to have 10 teeth , or 11 teeth on the spline ? The one I took off of my 84 has 10 teeth . Mine is bad , I found a guy who says he has one , only his has 11 teeth . Can anyone verify which is correct ? Also this starter runs counterclockwise . I think the 85 & 86 Gyro's run clockwise , they were only sold three years . ANY HELP will ba appreciated .

which one do you have?
the chopper style (TG50M Gyro S)

or the scooter style(NN50)?

that may be why the difference in gear teeth.
i have a manual for the TG50M Gyro S if you want to know
something technical

Thanks for the reply . I have the Blue 84 , scooter style , in the pics , 85 & 86 , chopper style , look like the other one . The 84 is model NN50 MD . I have a shop manual for mine , but not one for the TG50 M . would you look at the manual you have , about checking out the starter , and see what direction it says it is supposed to rotate ? Thanks
